The domain and the webhosting service for kirika.net was originally purchased at Aplushosting.com. Except for I've recently switched to Hostmatix.com. Aplushosting was getting too expensive for me, and I started to not like their restrictions and lack of features... for example, I can't host anybody or have subdomains unless I pay even more than I already was... Rip-offs. (However, I LOVE their customer service!!!)

Anyways, why did I choose kirika.net? Well, it's because at the time when I was choosing a new domain, I was infatuated with Noir, especially Kirika. Since Noir .net, .com, and.org were all taken, so I decided to go with Kirika. And was I lucky to get kirika.net so quickly. When I bought it, .com and .org were still available. Within the same month they were gone. And I was going to register .com for my music page too. Oh well, now I just ended up paying $80 for kirika.nu. >.<

Well, this site has been here for a long time. It started out on geocities (yes, geocities, when they were still nice and did not have big banners and allowed you to put anything you want), and it was called 'Lunah's Anime Picture Gallery'. Yes, I know I'm so unoriginal. Hey, I was 15 back then and didn't know much about the internet. Then I named it 'Lunah's Shrine', though my page wasn't really about Lunah. One thing I remember though, is that my page has always been a collective but of mostly picture galleries. That's why most of my site still mostly consist of picture galleries.

Well, then I started to pay for a host. I started with megami.net cuz they had really good services and are reliable. I even changed the name to what I use now, 'Eien no Yume'. Unfortunately, due to September 11th, megami.net had to close down because the person in charge was in New York and couldn't manage megami.net anymore. While using megami.net, I also payed for service at tera-byte.com and bought koisuiren.net, so that I can host my music page on megami. I got sick of that domain really quickly though, and I finally got kirika.net on September 24th, 2001, and has stuck with it. I even bought kirika.nu for my music page. And I plan to stick with this domain name for my homepage for as long as I have my webpage.
